Review time! This time, it's The World Through These Eyeholes by TheSomnambulist.

This blog is about A man named Sergei Korchaviv. He was married with a wife and son, but they left him after he was wounded in a fire, losing his eyesight. He was then approached by the Convocation, a hivemind of Bird-like Fears, who offered him power and new sight. He cut off the majority of his face, and began wearing a mask, taking the name "The Faceless Bastard".  He was made into one of the Convocation's Nests, and gained the ability to see through their eyes.

As their servant, he performed several missions. He started by murdering the family of Harold Ardy, who, in his anger, went and obtained the power of a dead Fear called the Brute. He was seemingly killed by the Faceless Bastard.

Faceless then enters the Empty City to track down a runner who had murdered a Nest. While he's there, he encounters Portnoy Augustus, from Urban Malefic, who restores Faceless's humanity. The two of them then attempt to leave the Empty City with the help of a scientist, and they end up having to fight a monster unleashed by the City. They manage to create an exit, and Faceless pushes Portnoy onto the outside, hoping to kill him. However, As he exited the City, Faceless became a Nest again, causing him to re-experience the pain of losing his face. Portnoy then took the opportunity to escape.

As he gets back to working for the Convocation, he is assigned to join a group of other Servants in order to track down and eliminate a Dying Man piece named the Liar. Interestingly, one of his partners is a Willing Doll named Harold. Faceless develops feelings for one of the servants, a Slender Proxy calling herself May. However, he discovers that she is actually the Liar, and kills her.

Afterwards, there is a turf war between Slender Man, the Convocation, and the Wooden Girl. Faceless and Harold end up on opposing sides, along with a Slender Proxy called The Grinning Reaper, who wields a unique scythe designed for fighting Nests. Faceless manages to kill her, and then faces off against Harold. However, their fight is interrupted by Slender Man. It is revealed that Slender Man had won the wart, and all the fighting was to end.

His next assignment is to stalk a Russian special operative, who proves to be too clever for Faceless to handle. While on the job, he ends up caught up in an Oathbreaker conspiracy to produce artificial Dying Men. He is successful in destroying them all, but in the process, the Liar is revived. Faceless also discovers that Harold Ardy isn't really dead, and is in the process of reviving the Brute. Faceless kills Harold in the Grove Of Fetters, but the Brute is able to almost fully revive. Faceless gives his life to destroy it, and the blog comes to an end.

So, what do I think of this blog? I think it was goddamn awesome and you all should go read it. Here's the link. It has some f@&king amazing characters, a great storyline, and it introduced the Brute, which is one of my all time favorite Fears. This was one of the blogs that got me started on the Fear Mythos, so it will always be special in my opinion  Good work, Som. You deserve a cookie. As a matter of fact, you deserve two cookies. But no more than that. You need to save room for dinner, after all.

Crystal Journey

So, remember a while back I said I created a video game? Well, I ended up doing some heavy revisions on it, but it's available for download now. Actually, it's been downloadable for a while, but I'm just now mentioning it on my blog. So, here's the download link.

In the game, an evil sorcerer named Asmoherus has created a bunch of crystals that steal energy from the gods. The king of the kingdom of Reylius hires four warriors to go and disable the crystals and defeat the sorceror. The warriors include;

Marcinius, a.k.a. Marce. He's a soldier whe is loyal to the king. He uses a lot of power and defense abilities to combat enemies.

Ferin, the thief king. He was arrested a few months prior to the game's beginning, and was offered freeddom if he agreed to assist the party. He uses speedy attacks, along with a few magic spells.

Kyliana, or Kyli for short. She is a sorceress who works as a mercenary. The king offered to pay her highly to help defeat the sorcerer. She has a lot of magic under her command.

Htims Llahsram, the bard. He is a travelling performer, and a musical mastermind. The king witnessed the kind of magic he can create with his music, and requested his assistance. Seeing it as an opportunity to go on an adventure, Htims agreed. His songs have healing powers, and there are a number of instruments hidden throughout the game that can add statuss effects to his physical attacks. Also, his name is my name spelled backwards, and he was once my old D&D character.

Acelegin Reviews; Oh God! The Rapture Is Burning! Act 1

This Time, I'm reviewing the first act of Oh God! The Rapture Is Burning! written by DJay32.

The story follows Jordan Dooling, who's world is suudenly consumed by a bizarre apocalypse. He begins encountering zombies, spider-cats, strange "Rabbit Holes" that connect multiple places together, Cockroach Jesus, and, of course, the Fears. Jordan sets off with his waepon of choive (a guitar hero controller called Tiger Stripes) to try and meet up with his online friends and try and find a solution to the apocalypse. Along the way, he makes a few aquaintaces, encounters multiple copies of the Rake, and is forced to serve the Wooden Girl (who is called Harlequin in this story), until he and his friend Donnie manage to lock her in a freezer. They then board a ship to America, and on the journey they end up encountering both EAT (Salmacis) and a Rake copy. All of the people aboard the ship are either killed or turned into Camper, except for Jordan and Donnie. They finally reach America, which is where the act ends.

Now, review time. This blog is crazy, confusing, difficult to follow, and long as hell. That being said, it's one of the best Fear blogs ever, and if you don't go read it right now, I will internet-punch you in the cyber-face. It really is great, with it's complex plot, unique Fear interpretations, and interesting characters. It's one my favorite blogs, and I recommend it to anyone interested in the Fear Mythos. I'll probably get around to reviewing the other acts eventually.

Now, normally I'd end a review with a Vocaloid song or something like that, but in honor of Rapture, I've created this music video for your enjoyment.

Acelegin Revews; We Remember Your Childhood Well

This is a Fear Mythos story written by my pal Max "Tiger" Hallam. It's still in progress, consisting so far of a prologue, and introduction, and six chapters. The main Fear involved in the story is the Blind Man.

The story takes place in a town called Ashmoor, where 17 children have gone missing. One of the children, Andrew, reappears near a library with none of his memories, and is found by his father and brought home. Later, he hears about another child who has reappeared, and asks to go meet with her. While talkng to the girl, Sam, he learns that not only is she also missing her memories, but she reappeared outside the same library. They decide to go there to investgate. One of the employees there warns them that their in danger, and that the police can't, or won't, help them.

While this is all happening, there is also some other stuff going on. There is another child who seems to be trapped in the Blind Man's domain, and a church is destroyed by the rare phenomina ball lightning.

All in all, I like it so far. It has an intriging story line, and I'm really hoping it keeps going. Good work on the awesome story Tiger. Looking forward to more.

Sonic; Wrath Of Mecros

What time is it? It's fanstory time!!!

Here's the long awaited 3rd episode of my Sonic fanstories, which I finally got around to editing and moving here to this blog! Hooray!

It was dark out, and the moon was mostly hidden by dark clouds. Two figures moved quickly across the land, toward a large city in the distance. One of the figures, a black hedgehog with red stripes, stopped abruptly. The other figure, a large, black and red robot with a Greek symbol on it's shoulder, stopped as well and asked, "Shadow. What is wrong?"
"I sense a Chaos Emerald nearby," said Shadow, looking around to try and find it. The two split up, in search of the Chaos Emerald.

Meanwhile, in Eggman's base, the doctor was working on his latest invention. It was a new robot. There didn't seem to be anything special about it. It was small, almost humanoid in appearance, with a round blue head, skinny arms and legs, a steel chest plate, and a light blue paint job.

"Wake up!" said Eggman, pressing a button. The robots circular eyes began glowing red and it turned up to look at Eggman.
"Hello Doctor," it said. "What is it you wish for me to do."
"E-237. I want you to find Sonic and his friends. You know what to do from there," explained Eggman.

The robot nodded its head and took off.

"Sonic. You'll never beat my new machine!” Eggman exclaimed delightfully. “E-237 will be your toughest battle yet! Fighting him will be like fighting an amplified version of yourself!"

At the top of a hill, hanging upside down from a tree, was Ace. Leaning against the trunk was Tikal, reading a book. At the bottom of the hill, Fang was running around and playing. There is a loud ringing. Ace wakes up and answers his cellphone.

"What!?" he said, angrily. He spoke with the person on the other end for a while, then hung up. He jumped off the tree and said, "I'm wanted at the white house. Tikal, can you look after Fang for a while?"
"Sure," said Tikal.
Ace took off, and made it to the white house a few minutes later. The guards recognized him and let him in. He entered the presidents room and noticed 2 new figures he did not recognize. There was a huge robot, accompanied by a black-and-red hedgehog.
"Who're these guys?" asked Ace.
"These are Shadow and Omega," said Rouge.
Ace turned to Shadow. "Nice to meet you, Omega," he said.
"That one's Shadow. You got them mixed up," said Rouge.
"Why should I care? Why did you call me here to introduce me to a garbage can and a gothic hedgehog?" he said.
"First of all, stop insulting them. Second of all, they're my partners and we need your help stopping Eggman's latest project," said Rouge.
"And why would I want to work with them?" asked Ace.
"Because, as usual, he's after these," said Shadow, holding up the green Chaos Emerald.
Ace looked at it for a minute. "Fine, I'll help out. But I'm gonna want something out of all this."

Elsewhere, Sonic was running through the green hills, like he does often. He was suddenly stopped by a new Eggman robot. It looked at Sonic through it's glowing red eyes. Sonic charged at it and delivered a punch. The robot caught Sonic's fist in one of its hands. There was a flash of red lightning. Sonic was shocked and fell to the ground. He looked up to see his own face staring down at him. A figure resembling himself, with a metal torso and frightening red and black eyes stood over him.
"Allow me to introduce myself, Sonic the hedgehog,” it said. “My name is E-237, code-named Mecros. I have the power to absorb the abilities, knowledge, and talents of anyone I touch." Mecros attacked Sonic and knocked him to the ground.
Sonic tried to fight back, but they were both evenly matched. Suddenly, a yellow energy dart struck Mecros in the back. Shadow appeared behind the 2 of them. "Hey Shadow, long time no see," said Sonic.
"You can't hold your own against this piece of trash?" asked Shadow. Mecros eyes began flashing, and he returned to his original form.
"This isn't over yet!" shouted Mecros, taking off.

Ace and Omega took off in a different direction than Shadow. Ace stopped to rest for a moment, and then turned his attention to a nearby cave.

"There's a Chaos Emerald in there," he said. “I can feel it.”

He entered the cave along with Omega. They started searching, and Omega ran into something. Mecros was in the cave as well.
"Sorry, but that Emerald is mine!" it said. It dashed behind Omega and struck hard, knocking Omega to the ground. Ace charged at Mecros. Mecros caught Ace's punch mid-swing, and the two of them were surrounded by red lightning. Ace fell to the ground, and when he looked up he saw that Mecros had transformed to resemble himself.
"What the..?" he said, startled.
"Bye-bye!" said Mecros, who began glowing white.

Ace started glowing white as well, and the two of them began fighting. Mecros was proving to be superior, and was about to overpower Ace, when its eyes began flashing, and it returned to its normal form.

"I'll be back!" it said, fleeing.

Omega approached Ace and helped him to his feet.
"I've found the Emerald," declared Omega.
"Yeah, thanks for helping me fight that guy," Ace said sarcastically. He got up, brushed himself off, and exited the cave.
Ace and Omega continued their search for Chaos Emeralds, and wound up by a river. Ace lowered himself into the water.

"Wait here," he said, diving under.

Omega waited, watching the bubbles recede. Ace emerged, gasping for breath.

"Did you find anything?" asked Omega.

"Yeah, I'm fine, thanks for asking," Ace said. "I found an underwater cave. There's an Emerald in there. You won't be able to go with me, so I'm gonna need to take the other Emerald with me."

Omega handed the purple Chaos Emerald they had found over to Ace. Ace dived down and swam into the underwater cave. He emerged in a tunnel. "Well, at least I can breath now," he said.

He continued his search and encountered a large Eggman robot. It was carrying 2 large swords and had a control panel on it's head. Eggman sat in it. "Behold! The Egg Swordsman MKII!" he said. "This will be a lot harder than the first one!"

Ace began fighting the machine. He entered his white form and attacked its chest with his fist barrage. The robot was damaged, but Ace hadn't won yet. The robot attacked with one of its swords. Ace tried to block, but was knocked aside. He stood up, dazed.

"Had enough yet?" asked Eggman.

Ace grinned and pointed to the robots hand. Eggman looked to see that a card was stuck to it's wrist. Ace pressed his button, causing the card to explode. The robot dropped it's sword, and Ace used his white power again. He picked up the sword and began fighting the robot. He managed to disarm the robot and slice off both of its arms. He then sliced the robot across the chest, causing Eggman to fall from its head. Eggman dropped a yellow jewel, which Ace quickly snatched up.

"Now, tell me about this new robot of yours," said Ace.

"You mean Mecros?" asked Eggman. "You've faced him. You should have figured out that he can absorb people's powers by now. He can do more than that though." Eggman clicked a button on his belt, and then a smoke screen rose up from the floor.

“Are you forgetting what I am?” Ace asked. He closed his eyes and scanned the tunnel with his echolocation.

Eggman quickly pressed another button and several explosives went off in the tunnel. He managed to escape through a trap door while the tunnel began collapsing. Ace quickly used his Chaos Control to escape as well.

Sonic and Shadow raced through the mountains, looking for Mecros. "So, where have you been all this time?" asked Sonic.

"Omega and I have been out on another G.U.N. Mission,” replied Shadow. “We recently finished and managed to return home. Not that it's any of your business."

They continued their search, and ended up running into Knuckles. "Have you two seen the Master Emerald?" he asked.

"What? Why?" asked Sonic.

Because it was stolen," he said. "Maybe I should explain."

Knuckles had been sitting in front of the Master Emerald, guarding it like always. Then an Eggman robot appeared before.

"So, Eggman sent another Robot after this Emerald, huh?" asked Knuckles. "Well, you ain't gettin' it!" He charged at the robot, which blocked his punch. There was a flash of red lightning, and Knuckles was surprised to see a mirror image of himself.

"Hehe, I thought you'd hit harder than that," said the robot. He punched Knuckles, sending him flying. "I'll be seeing you later!" it said, grabbing the emerald and taking off.

"And that's what happened," finished Knuckles.

"Mecros? But what does he want with the Master Emerald?" asked Sonic.

The sound of a plain soaring through the air caught their attention. They all turned around to see the Tornado land a few yards behind them. Tails jumped out, holding the red Chaos Emerald.

"Sonic! look what I found!" he said, waving the jewel around.

"Nice!" said Sonic. "But we have another problem. Eggman's got a new robot. And this one's better than the other ones."

"Why? What can it do?" asked Tails.

"It can absorb other people's powers," said Shadow.

"What? That can't be good," said Tails. "We need to find a way to stop it. I'll go scout and see if I can find something." Tails jumped in the Tornado and took off.

"I'll be going to," said Knuckles. "If this thing can really do what you said, then we should probably cover more ground. That might make it easier."

"I think we should stay together," said Sonic. "That way we'll be ready if he tries to attack us again."

"I agree with Knuckles," said Shadow, "I don't want to spend any more time with either of you idiots." With that, Shadow was gone.

Meanwhile, back in Eggman's base, the doctor gazed at the large Emerald before him. "We have the Master Emerald, but I can't control it's power," he said.

"Allow me,” Mecros said, stepping forward. “I may have lost the echidna's power, but I still have all his knowledge. That should be enough.”

It stood before the Emerald and raised its hands.

"The servers are the seven Chaos. Chaos is power. Power enriched by the heart. The Controller serves to unify the Chaos. I command of you. STOP THE CHAOS EMERALDS!!"

Ace and Omega walked down the river bank.

"We need to learn more about that robot,” Ace said. “I'm going back to the white house to talk to the president about this."

He held up the yellow Chaos Emerald and attempted to use Chaos Control. The Emerald glowed for a while, then stopped.

"What? Why isn't it working?" he asked, frustrated. "I guess I'll have to go by air. Later."

Ace flew away, leaving Omega alone. Omega Continued looking for the Emeralds, and encountered Mecros.

"Well, if it isn't the renegade," it said. "You've chosen to betray Master Eggman. Now I shall punish you for it. CHAOS LIGHTNING!" Mecros fired a bolt of red lightning at Omega, who was sent flying and crashed into a nearby tree before falling to the ground.

Omega got up and started firing missiles at it. Mecros stopped them all with his Chaos Lightning.

"You shall not win!" said Omega, charging at Mecros.

Mecros dodged the attack, and grabbed Omega by the head. They were both surrounded by the Lightning. Mecros started expanding. He was almost exactly like Omega.

"You foolish renegade! Did you forget about my power?!" it said.

Mecros delivered a heavy punch to Omega's chest. Omega collapsed.

"You don't deserve to feel my true power!" said Mecros, returning to its true form and leaving.

Ace landed in front of the white house. He entered, and went to go find the president. He made it to the main room, but the president wasn't there.

"Where's the big cheese?" he asked one of the guards.
"He's left to the G.U.N. base in the mountains," he replied.
"Great, now I have to fly more," Ace complained.

Tails flew through the air. He soon noticed that his Chaos Emerald was glowing.

"There's another Emerald nearby!" he said.

He landed the plain and began searching. He encountered a Mecros a few minutes later.
“Hello, fox boy," it said, grabbing Tails by the throat. There was a flash of red lightning, and the robot transformed into Tails.
"What? So you're the new robot," said Tails, wrestling his way out of the robots grasp.
"Name's Mecros," it said, charging at Tails.

Tails tried to deliver a punch, but Mecros blocked it and smacked Tails rapidly with its own tails. It grabbed Tails by the throat and threw him into a tree.

"How pathetic!" said Mecros, returning to his original form, "Now to find that emerald."
Mecros easily found the purple Emerald in some bushes and took off.

Ace arrived in front of the G.U.N. base and made his way to the center, where he found Rouge and the president standing in front of a blue Chaos Emerald.
"What's up?" asked Ace.
"W managed to find this Chaos Emerald," said Rouge, "But we can't seem to use it."
"Now that you mention it, I can't use Chaos Control for some reason," said Ace. "I wonder what's causing this."
"I might have an answer for that," said Shadow, coming through the door behind Ace. "Mecros stole the Master Emerald from Knuckles."
"Of course!" said Rouge. "The Master Emerald can neutralize the power of the Chaos Emeralds."
"Then we need to get that Emerald back," said Ace. "Shadow, I'm gonna regret this, but we may need to team up for this."
"Ha! I could handle Eggman and Mecros all by myself," said Shadow.
"Stop being so full of yourself!" yelled Ace.
"You two stop fighting!” Rouge snapped “Ace is right, Shadow. Your going to need his help if you want to stop Eggman, so just accept it."

“Fine,” Shadow said. “But don't expect me to enjoy this.

Sonic and Knuckles met up with Tails.

"What's up? Did you find anything?" asked Sonic.
"I found an emerald, but Mecros got it before me," said Tails. "We have to find him!"
"Sorry, but that's not going to happen!" said Eggman, who landed behind them in a new, bat-like machine. "You're never going to get that emerald! Now, take this!"

The machine charged at Sonic, who spin-dashed underneath it. The machine spun around and fired a bunch of missiles. They all missed Sonic, but Knuckles and Tails were caught in the explosions. Sonic stared in horror as the two of them collapsed.
"No!” Sonic yelled. “How dare you!”

Darkness began consuming Sonic. His anger transformed him. His entire body turned pitch black. He charged recklessly at the machine and tore its wings off. Eggman ejected himself from the machine as Sonic began pounding it into pieces.
"Sonic, STOP!" came another voice. Tikal ran over to him, followed by Fang and Omega. Sonic came to his senses.
"Wha-what just happened?" he asked.
"You lost control of your emotions," said Tikal, going over to Knuckles and Tails. “They're pretty beaten up, but I think I can heal them.”

“We found Omega earlier,” Fang said. “He said he was beaten up by something called Mecros.”

“I believe Mecros is growing mad with power,” Omega said.
"Well, then we'd better go and stop that creep," said Sonic. "Next stop, Eggman's base!"

Tikal managed to restore Kuckles and Tails.

“Are you guys okay?” Sonic asked.

“Yeah,” Tails said.

“I'm gonna make that guy pay!” Knuckles hissed.

“Well, then let's go give him and Mecros a piece of our minds,” Sonic said.

Knuckles, Tails and Omega followed Sonic as he took off.

Ace and Shadow made their way to Eggman's base. As they approached the entrance, a large robot with missile launchers on its shoulders and drills for arms blocked their way. "You two again?" said Eggman's picture on a screen. "You won't make it past this machine!" The robot attacked Ace, who glowed white and dodged it. He screw kicked the robots shoulder, disabling one of the missile launchers. The robot swung its drills at the two of them. Shadow dodged and grabbed a hold of its upper arm. He rushed up to its broken shoulder and stomped down, breaking the arm off. The machine launched missiles from its working shoulder. Ace kicked them back at the robot's chest, damaging it. Shadow spun into a ball and crashed through the robot's broken chest, destroying it.
"Gee, wasn't that hard," Ace said mockingly. "Let get going."
They entered the base and continued toward the center.

Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Omega arrived at the base and entered through the back entrance. They encountered another large robot, similar to the one Shadow and Ace had fought. It started attacking with its drills, but Omega and Knuckles destroyed its arms. It fired its missiles, but Sonic easily used his homing attack to bounce off of them and reach its head. He struck it as hard as he could, causing it to fall over. Sonic jumped into the air and spun into a ball. Knuckled jumped up, grabbed him, and smashed him down into the robot's chest, finishing it. A cyan light glowed from its remains.
"There's one of the Chaos Emeralds!' said Tails, rushing over to pick it up.
"We still need to defeat Mecros," said Omega, holding up his white emerald.
"Well, then we'd better get going," said Sonic, taking the aqua emerald from Tails. "CHAOS CONTROL!" he said. Nothing happened.
"The same thing happened to Ace earlier," said Omega.
"Mecros must be using the Master Emerald to disable the Chaos Emeralds," said Knuckles.
"We've got to keep going," said Tails. They continued moving forward and ran into Ace and Shadow.
"Hey. Have you guys seen Mecros?" asked Ace.
"No, but he managed to get hold of one of the Chaos Emeralds," said Tails.
Ace took out his own Emerald. "This may be useless, but if Knuckles can get to the Master Emerald in the core of the base, then we'll stand a chance," he said. Everyone brought out there own emeralds, which shined red, green, white, yellow, and aquamarine.
"I think I feel the Master Emerald nearby," said Knuckles.
"Me too," said Ace. They moved forward and saw the Master Emerald, guarded by Mecros.
"'Bout time you fools got here," he said. “It's not nice to keep people waiting.”

Shadow charged forward and tried to fight Mecros. There was a flash of red lightning, and Mecros transformed into a mechanical version of Shadow. The two fought, while Knuckles snuck over to the Master Emerald.
"The servers are the 7 chaos. Chaos is power. Power enriched by the heart. The controller serves to unify the chaos. Please, Master Emerald, restore the power of the Chaos Emeralds!" said Knuckles. The Emerald glowed brightly, and the Chaos Emeralds began to flash.
"It's working!" said Tails, "We can use Chaos Control again!"
"This is getting tiresome," said Mecros, removing the rings around his wrist.
"So, you're finally going to stop holding back, huh?" said Shadow, removing his own rings. "This is getting interesting." They both started glowing red. "DEATH TO ALL WHO OPPOSE ME!!" yelled Shadow. They both charged at each other.
"Uh oh," said Sonic. "We've gotta get out of here."
"CHAOS CONTROL!!" said Ace. They disappeared, leaving behind Mecros and Shadow.
"CHAOS BLAST!!!" the 2 of them said in unison. There was a large explosion of power. The whole base was in ruins. Shadow got up, panting. The attack cost him a lot of power. He looked to see Mecros standing before him, back in his original form. Sparks flew from his body, and he collapsed to the ground.
"Heh, you see? Even you can't handle the almighty power of the ultimate lifeform!" said Shadow, picking up the purple Chaos Emerald. "Good-bye, Mecros. CHAOS CONTROL!!" Shadow disappeared in a flash of purple light.

Ace, Omega, and Shadow arrived at the white house later, where the President and Rouge were waiting.

"Mecros is finished," said Shadow. "I don't think we'll be hearing from him again."
Shadow handed his Chaos Emeralds to Rouge.
Ace, who was leaning against the wall, spoke up. "Aren't you guys forgetting about something?" he said.
"What do you mean?" asked Rouge.
"Payment," said Ace. "I did my part part in taking this guy down and I think I've earned something out of all this."
"Of course," said the President, handing Ace the blue Chaos Emerald.
"Thanks. I have to get back to the others," said Ace, leaving.
After Ace left, a G.U.N. soldier came in. "Mr. President! We've received a message from Eggman!" he said. They went to a large television and turned it on. Eggman's face appeared on the screen.
"Eggman! What do you want?!" said the President.
"It's Mecros! He's gone renegade," said Eggman.
"You rebuilt him!?" said Rouge.
"Explain yourself!" commanded Shadow.
"Well, I decided to fix him up and give him an upgrade,” Eggman explained. “But it was to much and he's turned on me!"
"This presents a problem to the both of us,” The President said. “If he's grown stronger then he could take us down easily. Shadow, can you try and stop him?"
"I'll do my best," said Shadow, taking off at top speed.
"Shadow! You forgot the Emeralds!" said Rouge. But he was already gone.

"I'm back! With Gifts!" said Ace, throwing the yellow and blue Chaos Emeralds on the ground before Fang and Tikal.
"Wow! you found two Chaos Emeralds already!" said Fang.
"How did you get them?" asked Tikal.
"You know, Military work," said Ace. Then a flying television with Eggman's face on it showed up behind Ace.
"Hello, Ace," he said, "I was wondering if I could get a favor from you."
"Not likely,” Ace asked. “What do you want?”
"Mecros is back, and he's better than before," said Eggman, "He's betrayed me and he needs to be stopped."
"Damn. That robot was powerful to begin with, and if he's stronger, than he'll be too hard for G.U.N. to handle," said Ace. "I'll help just this once, but it doesn't mean anything. We're still enemies, got that?"
"Of course, Just stop him already!" said Eggman. Ace took off, leaving the Emeralds behind.

Sonic, Knuckles and Tails met up in Tails house after returning the Master Emerald to it's shrine on Angel Island. Amy and Cream were waiting for them. Sonic placed the red and cyan Chaos Emeralds on the table.
"Have you guys been collecting Emeralds again?” Amy asked. “I swear that's all you ever do. And let me guess, Eggman was involved.”
"Yeah, he came up with another eggheaded robot," said Sonic. Suddenly, a flying television crashed through the ceiling, leaving a large hole that they would have to patch up later.
"Great, what do you want?" asked Amy.
"I need your help," said Eggman, "I rebuilt Mecros and he's become rebellious  He's more powerful and I can't contain him."
"This sounds serious," said Sonic. "C'mon, let's go." Sonic took off while Tails and Knuckles followed in the tornado.
"Mister Sonic! What about the Emeralds!?" Cream called after them.

Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, Shadow, and Ace arrived at the base to see Mecros standing before them. Eggman was laying on the ground at its feet.

"Well, it seems you've decided to face me," said Mecros, "But you don't realize my power. The upgrade I received lets me absorb more power, and maintain them for a longer time! Mwahaha!"
"You fiend!" said Ace, "You won't get away from me this time!"
"Yeah," said Knuckles, "I'll beat you to a pulp!"
"Yeah!" said Tails. "Let do thi-"
Tails stopped in mid word. No one could move. "Hehehe. You guys were dumb enough to step right into this immobilization field. You won't be able to move as long as it's active.”

Mecros charged forward. There was a flash of red lightning. Mecros stood, in a new form. He had large wings and two tails. He had jet skates and rings around his wrists. He had spikes on his knuckles, and his head was blue with quills and red stripes. His eyes were black and red, and he wore an evil grin.
"Haha! With all of your powers combined, no one can stop me!" he said, taking off. “The world will be mine!”
Ace couldn't budge. He heard something in the corner of the room, out of his field of vision. He scanned the room with his ears and found a familiar figure tampering with one of Eggman's machines.

"It can't be!" he thought. The immobilization field turned off and the figure displeasure.
"Guys!" said Amy, running up, followed by Fang, Tikal, Rouge, Cream, and Omega. Amy held up the red Emerald. "Use this to stop that thing.”
"Please, defeat him," said Cream, holding the cyan Emerald.
"You can do it," said Tikal, holding the blue Emerald.
"Kick his butt!" said Fang, carrying the yellow Emerald.
"He must be stopped," said Omega, presenting the white Emerald.
"He's gotten too powerful," said Rouge, showing them the green and purple Emeralds. “You have to bring him down, or else there's gonna be trouble.”
"Okay" said Shadow.
"You ready for this?" asked Sonic.
"As ready as I'll ever be," replied Shadow.
Sonic and Shadow faced each other, and the Chaos Emeralds circled around them. There was a flash of red light, and they turned into Super Sonic and Super Shadow. They took to the air and met Mecros in the sky.
"Super Form?" said Mecros. "This'll be interesting."

They three of them began fighting. Even in their super forms, Mecros still proved to be a challenge for Sonic and Shadow. He was able to use all the powers he had absorbed to fight them on the same level.

"Prepare to die!" Mecros shouted. “CHAOS LIGHTNING!!”
"CHAOS SPEAR!!" yelled Shadow.
"SONIC WIND!!" yelled Sonic.

The three attacks collided and there was a large explosion. Sonic and Shadow took advantage of the blinding light, and flew forward to attack Mecros. Mecros fell to the ground.

"This isn't over! CHAOS-!" before it could finish, Ace charged at it and kicked it in the stomach. It returned to its original form.
"CHAOS CONTROL!!" yelled Ace. Mecros disappeared in a flash of gold light. "That should take care of it," he said.
"Where is it?" asked Sonic, exiting super form.
"I sent it to the core of the planet,” Ace said. “Even it can't survive that.”
"Well, it's gone now," said Shadow, also exiting super form. "Which means we can go on with our lives for a while."
Everyone left. Eggman had escaped earlier, and Sonic went off looking for him. Ace stayed behind for a while.

"So, I guess I ought to thank you for taking down the immobilization field, huh?" he asked.
"That would be appreciated, yes" said Sero, emerging from the shadows.
"Heh. Thanks. Dad," said Ace, smiling slightly.
"I suppose I'll be seeing you again soon?" he asked.
"That all depends," said Ace. "See ya. Maybe."
"Ace! you coming!?" called Fang.
"I'll be right there!" Ace called back, taking off.
